Autumn in The Lake District

Tucked away on the shores of Lake Windermere for four blissful days of creating with seasonal autumnal flowers… From creating bouquets, to styling tablescapes and installing large scale floral arrangements - all featuring rich hues and textural details - captured on camera by Jessica Reeve. We wandered down to the shores of the magnificent lake to photograph a textural autumnal wedding bouquet, styled with hand dyed velvet ribbon, the late afternoon autumn light dancing and reflecting on the ripples of the water. From there into the house, the focal point of the Silverholme Estate, to style an autumnal table with a floral bowl centrepiece made up off crispy seed heads and dried stems. Finishing off in style with a fireplace installation in the main dining room, rich and jewel like dahlias complimenting the red crimson of the walls. This photoshoot captured a special moment in time in early September when autumn takes hold on nature.
