Seasonal Bowl Design

Friday 2nd May 2025 or Friday 17th October 2025 2pm-4pm

£95

Embrace the joy of seasonal flower arranging. Whether you join us in spring or autumn we will teach you how to create a naturally styled garden inspired low bowl arrangement using sustainable techniques. Creating flower arrangements in bowls allow you to capture a moment in time. They hold in them everything that looked perfect in the garden on that day and in doing so they become a time stamp for the month or season they were created in. Creating a bowl arrangement is such a mediative and thoughtful exercise. It allows you to look at your garden and all the beauty it possesses. If you want to learn the art of how to create a design that has depth and texture, that dances and that reflects true nature, then this class will give you the opportunity to.

This half day class will start with a tour of our cutting garden where we will discuss what flowers are looking at their best and discuss which varieties will work well in a bowl arrangement. Back in the studio, whilst you enjoy tea and homemade cake, we will demonstrate a low bowl arrangement. Then it will be over to you to select your flowers and create your own arrangement using a handmade ceramic bowl and floral pin frog. Once everyone has made their bowls we will find the best light to photograph them so that you have a lasting memory of your time with your us.
